Into the Mystic

Yesterday's foray out for lunch was great. The wee cafe only serves drinks and cake so we had to go for lunch elsewhere (great pub called Jamiesons) and came back to Into the Mystic for dessert and browsing :)

It is a bright interesting place with high ceilings and lots of things to ooh and ahh over. Upstairs they have two fortune telling"tents" covered with brocade fabric and you are encouraged to invite some friends and have a party. That would be fun:)

My friend having a sniff of a candle.

I bought a spell card for Hayley....... "How to Do Well" on tests ;-)
You sit at a long bar for your tea and there are lots of fun little things to try as you sip and taste your sweets. Runes and fortune telling pendulums and books to poke through. Fun:) We had a great chat with the owner Donna and one of her Readers, Myrna Starratt.

Sounds like a fabulous place ... and a great time. My daughter would love it, as she is all into spells and readings. It looked really beautiful and relaxing in the pictures.

That looks fun. And also like the kind of place I couldn't drag my husband into if his life depended on it!

Oh, what a lovely outing for you and mates.
I think this shop looks so inviting and interesting.
Don't you just love to meander about, looking/smelling all the bits and bobbles in places like that?
I know I do.
And to have a tea break, there, in the midst of all the wee treasures.
Oh, sounds absolutely wonderful.
