Good Friday

Summer Dreams available on eBay

Don't you just love that wee kitty on the swing? Tire swings are definitely on my list of fun things to do. You'll often see them when driving out in country. Happy new life for something worn out and well used:)
This morning the sun is beaming but the forecast is for rain later. I intend to get the best out of this sunshine. Might even tackle the backyard! Still full of Autumn leaves....they never got raked :( Now they are packed down and much harder to get up. Good workout:)
I saw my first crocuses!!!!!!!! Hooray. Small colourful patches of them are starting to appear!
Have a peaceful day.

In my parent's village (where we are now) there is a house with a lovely front garden. There is a huge tree with a bench underneath and a tyre swing. Each day when I walk by I think 'I want to sit there'. Maybe I'll sneak over there in the night ;-) Lovely painting!

Hello Shelagh - just received the cookbook in the mail, LOVE IT. I am making olive puffs and hot artichoke dip for easter sunday apps, and besides my spiral ham I am making the Coke Ribs as well!! I love this cookbook, full of AWESOME recipes! Great job.

Also, love this fun print you've just posted. Tempted to buy that as well. :-)

Alive with color-love it, and especially the kitty hanging out in the tire swing :]
I just started raking my leaves up too. Lots of goodies are peeking out!

We have a tire swing, sort of,...unfortunately it hangs from a frame and not a tree branch and it looks like a horse...i will probably need to post a picture someday of that one to explain what i just said...oh, yes, i love the wee kitty. we should have a few wee kitties of our own as our beloved "indie" is expecting:) also love the print...i guess i might have to add that to my growing collection soon too!

Lovely! My son (the younger one) wants to know if that's your house - I think he's a tad envious of the cat on the swing!

I do love the kitty...so cute. My kids loved tire swings. We had one in the tree for years when they were growing up.

I love this painting. I just popped over to your blog & was so surprised to see your lovely artwork. This picture reminds me so much of one that sits atop my mantel.

They're the kind of pictures that just make one feel happy!

Cheers!

Hi Shelagh! First, thank you for your kind words on my blog this morning. It means more than you know and you're a good friend.

Next, you famous woman you! How exciting about the movie gig! I was an extra a long time ago and it is not as easy as it looks is it? My husband has worked in the movie industry for over 25 years so I've been to lots of sets and met lots of famous folks but only one time did I try being in a movie. Too hard for me and I think I pretty much stunk at it! You can see my hubby in a few though he is not an actor - he's a grip. Anyway, I loved the first movie so I can't wait to see the next one ESPECIALLY since I can jump and shout "I know her!"

And, congrats on your work being published, again! You are just full of exciting news and I am celebrating it all with you!

Lastly, you know I love the painting cuz I always love them all. You are such a talent and your work makes my soul sing happy songs. Beautiful work and I feel you in it and me wanting to be in it!
