I almost missed it ! Hard believe I have been puttering away here for a year already :) 302 posts. Who knew I had that much to say. Thanks so much for popping by and continuing to do so, even you lurkers! Heaven knows, we are all lurkers at times, it is enough to read and enjoy. There are so many wonderful places to visit and just never enough time. I write because I love it and I hope you will enjoy it too.
Of course.... in honor of this auspicious occasion and because I love giving...... a wee giveaway is in order. The winner can choose a print/photo from my shop and I will also package up a small parcel of surprise goodies for you! Leave me a comment here telling me what you would wish for your very best friend, it can be as practical or unpractical as you want.

What would I wish for my best friend...Since my husband is my best friend and then some, I would wish that he could win the lottery so he didn't have to work and could enjoy his passions full time like I have been able to do over the years. Michael has been a great provider and as a result I have been able to stay home, raising our sons. Because of his work, he gave the boys and I the greatest gift - time with each other! I am blessed!

Happy Blogiversary, you certainly have done very well. I have been blogging for 3 years in January and have just done my 300th post, so you are way ahead. Love the cakes.
I would wish for my friend in Paris, that she finds inner peace, and is not troubled by family life.
What I wish for my best friend is that she can find good help and peace of mind and solutions for herself and her adopted son who was born to a crack-addicted mother. He will pay the price for his mother's selfishness for the rest of his life.
Now that was a downer, wasn't it? But it's my wish for her.
Maybe I should wish FOR a best friend - or the tolerance to keep one instead of feeling everyone is a liar, flake, or both. Then I could wish them one of your paintings, which I love.
But this is actually just a long way of saying hello and happy blogiversary!
