Tea is Magic original available on eBay
Print is available on Etsy

So, I was quite shocked when I heard the news. I was surprised at how strong my reaction was. Michael was a sad mysterious character who definitely had some unsavory habits but musically he was a shining star! His songs made you want to move.
I have a lovely memory of listening to his music in Bermuda. We were staying on a small sailboat moored in St. Georges. In the warm evenings, coming from a small local bar just across the way, his music would float across the water and draw us out to dance. Good times:)

  3. I am glad he is at peace. He was a beautiful musician and I am gratiful for his music. I have lots of happy memories from high school dancing to his songs. Have you seen "13 Going On 30"? Thriller is featured and it is a very cute scene. Check it out.

  4. Lovely post, despite his failings, he had an impact on a generation or two and he deserves respect for that.

  6. Love the painting. I agree - i think he was a troubled man but he had huge talent. Just the other day we were dancing in the car to some of his fantastic tunes. Hope you are well! Internet again for a while so playing catch up!
