Not only are these rhododendrons glorious to look at, the scent is AMAZING. I had no idea the orange ones were perfumed.
Today is a bit overcast and rain is forecast, a bit sad really because we had a wonderful week of sunshine and now, here it is, the weekend and wet weather. I have lots of projects to do as usual and a lot of internet catching up:) so I am ok with it.
Last night I saw The Proposal with Sandra Bullock, fun and fun. I enjoy her. I also saw My Life in Ruins last week and enjoyed it too. A bit over the top and hokey dialogue but at the end of the movie you feel good:) I grew to like the characters and of course the scenery was gorgeous Greece! Two light happy flicks. Mental bubblegum as my dad used to say.
Here is something I came across in a blog I enjoy and found it interesting. We are all doing sit ups the wrong way! Here's how to do them to protect your back! Watch the video also.
Awesome! I have a bad low back so I don't do many traditional sit ups. I'm always looking for good alternatives. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI love those flowers, here I have bought the white, pink, and yellow....haven't seen orange.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo!
Smiles :)

Another beautiful post! I think I can smell those flowers through my computer, or maybe it's the flowering tea!
ReplyDeleteI actually did watch the video! I'll get on that right away! LOL And I marked it as one of my favs so when I actually do start doing sit up, I can reference it! Hope, I live on hope!
I was just up in Maine and I saw a lot of this color of Rhododendrons there! I had never seen that color before!
ReplyDeleteLiked that video - maybe I'll try a couple of those!
I've never seen the orange Rhodies before either. Beautiful. Much more my taste than the varieties I'm used to seeing.
ReplyDeleteI love orange rhododendrons. Being my first June in Nova Scotia, I'm particularly blown away by the lupins. It's just unbelievable.
ReplyDeleteWow, great info, I have neck issues with crunches and this might help! Also, never knew there were ORANGE rhododendron, we don't have them around here, how beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI never saw orange rhododendrons before --they are so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI like the expression "Mental Bubblegum"and also enjoy "feel good" movies :=)
I learned how to do sits ups that way in a yoga class. I really should be doing them as my middle has been getting thicker each year after I passed 50!
'mental bubblegum' ... love that!
ReplyDeletemmmmm orange rhododendrons, beautiful!
Oh, I want some of these pretty orange flowers. They are gorgeous.
