Anyone in Halifax looking for something to do tonight? HandmadeNation, a documentary about the DIY , art ,craft and design movement is playing at 9:30 Park Lane as part of The Atlantic Film Festival. It is a quirky, fun and interesting look at creating.
Love,Me boutique, 1539 Birmingham St. ( just along from Park Lane) is holding a pre-screening reception before the film 7-8:30 and will be giving out prizes of lovely donated handmade goodies from her shop at the theatre! Should be lots of fun!

ReplyDeleteI saw the movie about a month ago here in wellington. There really is a great craft scene in the US, its only just taking off here.
