Once upon a time....

there was a cat named Monty......

who liked to try all the beds in the castle....

But sadly decided that some of them were just too small.

Hi, Shelagh! Thanks for the laugh! Monty looks like he's doing just fine finding appropriate napping venues. One of our cats, Melody, likes to drape herself over a 2x4 and she makes it look oh-so-soft-and-luxurious! They definitely know how to advertise naps! :-)

Monty, I have a used great dane bed over here, that the great dane has outgrown... you're welcome to that..and any advice as to where to get a bed big enough for a dane would be appreciated!

I really like the last image of Monty.

More than fifteen years ago I had taken in two stray cats, one I called Monty and the other Puss & Boots because of the cats markings. Sadly, a neighbor poisoned them, yet I remember them fondly.

Within a year another stray made herself at home and she is still with us. I just took pictures of her today for a posting in the future as Painted Lady is my friend and companion and i wish to share this with other cat lovers.

Thank you for your post and sharing your story.
Have a wonderful weekend.
