Is it March yet?
Having a bit of a February slump. Always happens this time of year. So glad it is a short month!
Remember this painting? I've just made it available as a print.

I, too, suffer those february slumps. But.. I've kickstarted my exercise routine (thanks to your inspiration) and I'm patting myself on the back for atleast THAT!...
Happy Soon-to-be-Spring.
This truly is my favorite print, Love that sky!
Also, made the Cheeseburger pie for my family the other night, it was a huge hit!
Yeah, February is the shortest month of the year but it lasts the longest somehow!
Hi Shelagh!!
Let me just say...your art is INCREDIBLE! I am currently working with K-5 students at an elementary school in central Maine (we love Nova Scotia!). I wanted to ask you if I could show the students some of your artwork as an introduction to a lesson we are teaching in the next couple of weeks. Another art teacher and myself were just captivated looking at your paintings! I know they'll love your work, the colors and imagery are wonderful.

We just got 30" of snow over the weekend with 10" more coming tonight. I think my slump is just beginning. Good luck and hang in there.
Karen- hooray for exercise
Debra- I know...funny about that:)
Kendra- Thanks so much! Yes you can:)Take some pictures and let me see how it went!
LemonyRenee- Yes, some of you are really getting whopped with snow!Stay warm:)
Oh yay!! Yes I will definitely email you pictures, the kids will be so excited they are going to look great.
I am going to have the kindergarten students look at your print series of baby animals, and we're going to look specifically at the "Baby Chick and Mom" print. The kids are going to make texture on 8" x 8" pieces of paper with crayon, and then paint over the crayon with tempra paint. The next week, we're going to talk about overlapping and learn how to draw overlapping birds like in "Baby Chick and Mom". They're going to paint the birds, and then paste them on the textured paper.
They'll be so excited to know that the artist they're learning about will get to see some of their work! Thanks for letting us use your art!
I know exactly how your feeling. After February, it's all downhill...
