Joy

I've uploaded some new prints to my photography shop Broomhill Pictures
Took forever and I have so many more I would like to do. LOVE this one:)

Big game on tonight but I am not much of a football fan. Probably will watch bits and pieces. I like to see the halftime show.

Went to a "cottage pie"cook off last night and guess who won? It was fun to try all the different versions. All good in my opinion. Cottage pie is what we call shepherd's pie. Ground beef with a mashed potato crust. In Britain, "shepherd's" pie is made with lamb and the version with beef is called cottage pie. I used a Gordon Ramsay recipe. Gosh we had fun, I don't think I have laughed so much in AGES!

I'm glad you won because if you didn't, I'd hate to think of the string of obscenities that would be pouring out of Gordon Ramsay's mouth right now.

Assuming the big game you're referring to is the Super Bowl, the commercials are the best part. Do you get the same ones that they show with the game on U.S. TV? They spend crazy money on them, and I think people talk more about the ads than the game the next day.

Cottage pie is one of my all time favourites, but I make traditional shephards pie too.
Oh what a dish! This time of year it is perfect, and congrats on winning. Why am I not surprised? xoxo

Your posts so often make me hungry. I forgot about sheppards pie. Maybe that's what I'll make for dinner.

Sometimes I cook a leg of lamb on Sunday JUST so I can cook shepherd's pie with the leftovers on Monday (it's always better with leftovers!) Yumm.
