Baby its wet outside...

Nicholas Muray, 1943, McCalls magazine

Is it ever..... We have had days of rain and high wind and dark. Serious flooding has happened in many parts of the province. Luckily we live on a hill and all is well. Normally weather does not affect me too much, with the execption of the last month of winter, but this rain has started to get to me. Luckily tomorrow's forecast is sunshine, not a moment too soon:) I've been popping extra vitamin D.

Remember last year, I participated in 'Bust a Move'? Six hours of exercise to raise money for a mammogram machine. Paula Abdul will be the instructor for the last hour. Last year it was Richard Simmons:) This year I will only be volunteering but my daughter has decided to do it again and has to raise $1000! If you would like to help the fight against breast cancer, you can do so here. It says currency amount Canadian but any currency is fine and.... Paypal is accepted! Yay, makes it easier for some. Thanks.

More painting today. I have a couple in progress and am waiting to hear on one submitted for a group show. Have a productive day, whtever that means to you:)

It has been insane! This is what it was like when we lived on Eagle Mountain in BC. At least it isn't snow but I went out and got Vitamin D too. I feel like I have been living in a cave! I feel bad for the people dealing with flooding and it's a lot of people, I know. I hope this wild wind will push that crappy weather system out of here.

Atleast it's not snow and ice! But it sure is dreary.

We also, gratefully, live on property that misses more weather problems except for front yard becoming one huge sponge during rain storms. The ducks love it! Have a sunny day.

Oh, I love these pictures. And would actually welcome a little rain... I love to write while cozy at my computer, with it darkish and wet outside.

But for you I wish sun and dry! :)

What a great cause! That's awesome of you to do. And the last photograph is terrific - who is it?

PS: Hope you get sunshine all weekend!
