Wow we are having a doozy of a couple of days. Today the temps are supposed to reach summer levels! 25C/78F I will enjoy it but it does kind of freak me out. Temps back to near freezing on the weekend. The orchard growers are nervous because the trees might start blooming with all this mild and whacky weather and then the frost will come and kill the tender buds. This picture was taken in May. Forsythia in full bloom, it is the earliest flowering shrub around here and we still have a month and a half to go before it should be flowering.
I am almost finished with another cold. Sniffles drive me crazy. Drippy noses are not condusive to getting much done. I've managed to dispatch this one quickly!
In other news....I've signed on with a cross-stitch company in the UK and soon my paintings will be availabe as kits and patterns. Cross-stitch is something I have never been able to do, you need lots of patience I think, but the results are lovely! Will let you know when they are "live"

Your paintings will be lovely interpreted in cross stitch. I used to do it but it's very hard on the eyes.
Can you send some of that warm weather across the gulf? We just had more snow.

~Laurita, I'm sorry to hear of your snow:( So glad it is gone here and as nice as these warnm temps are, they are sort of scary. It may snow once again here too once the weather settles down to normal!
I used to cross-stitch and yes, it takes patience! Your art will make lovely cross-stitch pieces.
Edmonton was #8 on that list, LOL! Well, at least we made the top ten.

I'm worried about frost returning too... although we've all been outside with flipflops and tee shirts for days now. Wonderful, but weird. and alarming I guess.
I love, love, love the colours in your photo.That cool creamy shade of aqua against the bright yellow of the dogwood - so fresh and pretty. Really does personify spring! And I'm glad to hear about the cross-stitch. I bought my mom one of your calendars this year and she loves it. She's also a mad stitcher so she would totally appreciate your stitchy stuff!
