magic cottages

After yesterday's post I thought I would go back to our regularly scheduled programming. I just love these cottages, they are part of a wee row of houses near the Brig 0 Balgownie in Abderdeen. Very old. My mother grew up next to them and I have spent many happy hours wandering around the neighborhood.

They all face the river Don and there is an ancient public footpath that meanders along it.

They are delightful and I never fail to get inspired, wanting to create some of their magic in my own home.

We are about to get pummeled with another storm. So glad it is going to be rain. I have painting plans today.Hey, it's the last day of February!

Those are so wonderful. We don't have things like that around here. I would love to be able to walk and see sights like those!

They certainly look like enchanted cottages...how lovely to have lived near them.

My daughter just returned from NYC, and said there are thousands of Canada Geese all over the fields in NJ. On their way home I assume... maybe this means an early spring for us?

Hooray for the last day of February!

Beautiful images :)

Thank you for sharing these beautiful pictures. I've always dreamed of living in a little cottage in the woods. These reminded me of that. Have a lovely day.

I have posted (finaly) on my blog something about "the swap" and how I much enjoyed your parcel, but it is in portuguese for now, I hope I can do the translation soon. And also I still dont have "THE" photo from the things you`ve send me. I will post it soon also.
I hope you dont mind, I have used an image from you on my post with link for your etsy.
