Rocking the phentex

Does anyone else wear these? Style maven that I am, these are now my current "go to" slippers. Knitted by my sister-in-law, I wan't sure at first but graciously accepted them. Work horses they are, tough, warm, flexible, and oh so sexy! Pom poms!

I've just added an option on my sidebar so you can get each blog post delivered straight to your email if you want. You just have to click on the link and fill in your address. You can unsubscribe at anytime.

I wore phentex slippers constantly for about 20 years and only (reluctantly) gave them up when I needed more arch support. I have found, however, that those pom poms are a magnet for hair (cat, human, or otherwise), dust and grime. So I always cut them off. Neutered the slippers, if you will.

You are stylin'! I noticed that your lilly-whites are neatly shaved and look well smooth and moisturized. What better style than that.

(PS - Haven't done Pexntex for years, but I used to love them)

Hello....these are my favorite slippers, only ones I've ever wore! My current ones are still going strong after 4 years. Made with carpet wool from Tandus in Truro.

I love your slippers and blog!

Knit them, sell them, give them, wear them and LOVE them! I love mixing and matching the colors and "naming" my slippers! I just finished a pair of "Pink Lemonade" slippers made from bright pink and yellow Phentex yarn! I sell quite a few of them too. People seem to love them as much as I do!

My grandmother used to wear those. I think if I saw you in those I would probably curl up on your couch and wait for you to bring me chicken soup. Hope to see you at the market next week.

I looked at some phentex yarn last week but could not bring myself to the point where I could imagine actually knitting with it. But you slippers look so cozy I might have to rethink this.

Yes I had a few of those beauties. They are the most wonderful slippers. That phentex yarn was like steel.
I love the colour, it's my favourite.
