Pretending it is Paris
My friend Mary having a peep at the luscious window display.
The Hydrostone Market is a cute wee strip of shops that are quite different from anyplace else in Halifax. I love the picture below taken of the pastry display case and reflection. It is like one of those trick pictures, it is croissants....no, it is people having tea.... no, it is croissants....no.....
Sara H, look familiar? :)

Envy, jealousy, hmmmm! These are not good things are they?! I love those photos. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I used to live in the Hydrastone area (back in the '70's). I've driven thru since then but never gotten out of the car and roamed. So, you've given me another great place I have to check out next time I'm in the city.
Your world is so filled with happiness and delight. Obviously a reflection of your kind soul, Dear Shelagh.
xo, Graciel
LOL! I love the croissants photo too (and your commentary to go with it... made me laugh)
Nice pictures and I could go for a croissant right now!
...love this. just what i need since i can't be there. i would so love to sit and nibble on a croissant and sip un tasse of coffee...but, as that is not possible, i will look at these wonderful pic's and daydream for a moment...xo, mickey
I was just in that shop on the weekend. Did you see the purses made out of rubber bathing caps?
Thanks for the great photos, Sheilagh. I've been meaning to check out the hydrostone market. Now, I'm really on my way.
Lovely photos. You've created a lot of interest! Maybe we should have a gathering of NS bloggers!
I still think you live in the most perfect place ever and I am still considering moving there if you don't stop showing us all of these uber cool places and things to do!
Oooh...cute hats in the window! And now I want a croissant. This certainly sounds like my kind of market!
