Yellow Flowers original on eBay, print available on Etsy

Something bright and cheerful for you :)

I am back from the dentist. One half of my face is frozen. As it comes back to life I am feeling all pins and needley. I thought my appointment was yesterday, and rushed to make it on time only to find that it was for today! Walking in today, I felt as if I was in the Groundhog Day movie. "Here for my 2:50 appointment:)" Deja vu. Luckily I love my dentist and did not mind.

I meant to tell you that I saw Star Trek on the weekend and LOVED it! Big IMAX screen and fresh popcorn. I was in cinema heaven:)) The casting was terrific and the story good. I am waiting for the sequel already. You need never have seen a Star Trek movie or episode to enjoy this, it does stand alone although knowing the characters does make it feel like greeting old friends.

Off to rustle up something for supper. I hope it doesn't pour out of the side of my mouth ;)

Ooh! We saw it over the weekend too. My husband is a Trek-fan from waaay back. I went for him, but I actually really enjoyed it!

Dental work is definitely no fun.

The movies whisk me away so often. My friend Kath and I try to go out to the show...she loves movies as much as I do! Julian not so much. :(
But that is what girlfriends are for!
I shall have to go to this. I still crush on Bill Shatner. Is he in it? Or no? Am I totally out of the loop?
The painting is happy, and reminds me to focus on the positive.
I caught myself being negative today, and was not impressed with myself. :)

Am going to see Star Trek this weekend. I hope your mouth is okay in time to eat. I can remember having to hold my head sideways one time so the food would stay in. (I never have those problems now-a-days!!)

Happy Victoria Day weekend.

As always I enjoyed your post, teeth and all! Good to be back among the bloggers again.
Star Trek seems to be all the buzz and won't be so good on the home screen. So must go!
Thanks for the update on Tall Ships. Joe and I hope to meet them in Charleston. BTW, your painting style inspired me to give a bright vase of flowers a try. Great fun!
Keep that drool cup handy.

Dear Shelagh,
Just spent some time catching up on your blog. I know I've said it before, but I love it here. Have a brilliant day.
