Hydrangeas

Hydrangea Bouquet available on Ebay!

I adore hydrangeas. Especially the deep blue ones. Thought I would try painting some, not super happy with it but love the colours. As always, the computer fails to capture all the hues present in the "real" painting.

So, tonight is our final "bookclub" meeting until the fall. We always go to the same restaurant and I always order the same thing. I don't there often enough to get tired of it. I like traditions and this seems to have become one:) We are just a small group but we sure have fun. It also happens to be martini night:) Cheers!

The colors in your hydrangeas really depict the varied colors in the plants. My mom's are the really blue ones, but when I bought them for her they were a lovely pink. She tries to put lime on them to change them back to pink, but it never works.

Great artwork!!

NICE! Hydrangeas were my wedding centerpiece flowers. But I didn't want cut flowers b/c I wanted the guests to be able to plant them, so I did plants. The poor florist couldn't find the blues and worried I'd freak with the pinks, but I love all plants. Hydrangeas are one of my favorites! GREAT painting.
