Lupin Cottage available on eBay

Well, the stuff came down for 12 hours. Towards the end it was just ice pellets and I could hear them pinging off the windows. What a mess. I got this painting done and later I snuggled down with a cup of tea and my current book, The Tea Rose. It is a wonderful big comfy novel about the adventures of Fiona Finnegan in 1880s London and New York. One of those books you can get lost in, the author is a great storyteller. We are reading it for our book club.

Another beautiful and bright painting, Shelagh!
What a contrast in experience! I imagine you painting near a window with the snowy scene in the background. This Lovely Lupin Cottage and ice pellets knocking at your window.
I hope it clears for you today. Sounds a bit treacherous to go out and about.
It howled here all night keeping me staring wide eyed into the darkness. Chilly 18 Degrees now, but at least bright and cloudless.

It's wonderful that you have such warm and colorful images in your head when you are in the middle of so much snowy-whiteness.

That book sounds fabulous. Must add it to my to read list. Thanks!

This painting is so pretty ans summery.

We had a little snow but not as bad as predicted.

Thanks for the book recommendation --I'm always looking for something good to read.

Well that little bright painting just perked me right up...atleast you know what to expect up there with the cold and the snow....I'm in Atlanta where it's 18.....It's totally un-natural...
