My last nod to Christmas. This is a wee convenience store near me. I love the way it looks:) Almost magical, makes you want to walk through that door.

My daughter's dinner party was a great success. A bit hairy at the end getting the pasta together. She had doubled the recipe and it called for 30 oz of spinach. That's a lot of spinach! It was overwhelming until it wilted down. It was delicious!

I want to wish you ALL a prosperous and peaceful New Year:) May the bluebird of happiness sit on your shoulder all through the year!

Hi Shelagh!

Thanks for the welcome back!I've been a little sad to have left my darling grandson behind but I'll be visiting him again soon :-)

You've blogged a lot since I've been away and i enjoyed catching up --I'm listening to the wonderful myspace music on the link you posted -- I will definitely look for the album as she has such a lovely voice and I love Celtic music.

I hope 2009 will bring you and "H" many joys and blessings. It has been wonderful to get to know you as a blog friend!

Hugs, Pat
