Love this picture. It represents many things to me. Hope and perseverance are two of them. This pretty little poppy was growing on the shores of Lake Louise in Alberta. A glacier fed and very cold beautiful turquoise lake.
Love this and the picture in your most recent post. I spent a couple of weeks driving in Alberta a few years back. I was there alone in the depths of winter and went to Lake Louise to look at the ice statues. So beautiful! My favourite place was Emerald Lake as when I went I was the only person (or so it seemed) walking in thick untouched snow. Thank you for taking me back to some wonderful memories!
This is so beautiful! Such a great pop of color in an otherwise bland existence! I'd love to blow that up and have it wallpapered as a mural onto a wall in my house! I think it would be a great statement!

This made me smile. As soon as the picture popped up I said, oh Iceland poppies! They are one of my favorite flowers.
Gorgeous poppy giving a burst of color! :-)
Oh, my! Beautiful!
I love poppies. The contrast between the papery petals and the rocks in the background is wonderful.
Good Morning!
I LOVE this photo.
It would make such a beautiful art quilt! Do you do any textile art?
Have a most beautiful day!

Beautiful! I love poppies and the only kind we ever see here are prickly poppies, which are white and wild.
Gorgeous! A splash of color amongst the gray rocks. Nature's poetry.
