March 1st
Hooray! Today is March 1st! The month spring starts:)) It is still a frozen one for the most part but the days are longer, the sun feels stronger and it just feels good to be out of February.
I LOVE poppies. These were taken in Alberta.
Today we are expecting a freezing rain storm, speaking of frozen.....
Did you enjoy the rainbow interviews? I have a few more in the wings. Fun to think about colour in that way.
I've got a painting on the go I really should get to today. Hope you have a happy one:)

Yay for March! We're supposed to get 7 inches of snow tonight too :] Hopefully the last hoorah of the Winter.
Come on Spring!
9" of snow coming here - I also blogged about snow today!
Poppies are so beautiful - it is a shame the flower only lasts 1 day.
I am reluctant to post this...I'm equally excited about the arrival of March.
However, living in the southern tip of California, snow, ice, and even rain, seldom if ever grace my door step.
I miss the highlands, with it's snow and ice, frightfully cold gusts.
But for now, as the lacking of your fine weather allows me to miss my home.
I think of poppies!
California poppies can be seen along highways here.
Happy spring to you too!
I'm jealous of your in coming rains!
cheers~
We woke to lots of snow here yesterday morning and by 1: or so it was already mostly melted. It's all gone today. I am soooo ready for Spring.
March came in like a Lion for us! We ae getting lots of snow.

Loved the interviews. What a superb idea. We need the color this time of year.
Looking forward to that new painting!
Thanks for all the kind comments, Shelagh! Keeps me fired up!
I love poppies, too. I have a dream that one day I'll walk through a field of them. Your celebration for March's arrival has me smiling today. :)
