Monday

Yesterday's lunch. Can you guess where I was?
Yes, a baby shower! Our hostess went to a lot of work making it fun and delicious. Thanks:)
I am amazed at the constant evolving creation of baby things. Even in the short time since my daughter was born, there have been innovations and new items that I have never seen:) My mom snorts when she sees what babies today have, "Back when you were a babe" she says , "all we had were enormous cloth nappies and big pins , you slept in a crib and that was that." lol.
Oh well...
I have a busy day today. Lots to get done. Hope your week starts splendidly!

Well I for one am a member of the new baby-crazy generation, but I swear mine will have cloth nappies and pins, sleep in a crib and that will be that!
The shower lunch looks inviting though, the excuse to make those roll-y sandwiches will be welcome when the time comes... Nice photo! X

So true, Shelagh, about how much there is for babies now! I am amazed by all the wonderful little helpful things my daughter-in-law has for our grandson.

Oh your lunch looks yummy. I agree with your moms. Todays babies (and new moms) are just spoiled rotten. Way too much stuff. But it's all so cute, and such must have's!

". . . and we all walked 10 miles to school in the snow uphill both ways!" I know, my folks give me the same guilt inducing commentary on the ease of our lives and we will probably do the same to our poor kids.

I love party food. Your picture has made me hungry. Maybe I will make cute party food for dinner tonight! Why wait for a party? Have a good Monday!

For some reason Bloglines has not been picking up your blog for me - and I have missed the wonderful colors that I see here...

Thanks for keeping me feeling alive with all your vibrant colors. They cure the winter blahs!

Looks very yummy. Life of a new mother has changed a lot. But as we all start to think Green, it is funny how the old ways are the new Green ways. I have to admit, I am glad to be past nappies, pins, food in jars and cheerios...Love your photos and artwork. Mickey
