Stay tuned

Pictures from my maple syrup adventure coming soon...

This is the outside of the Earltown ramshackle wee general store. Each year it gets more and more run down. Inside there is a wood stove with about 8 chairs arranged around it. See all the snow reflected in the window? They had a blizzard up here last week but the sun was out yesterday and things are a melting!

Need some gas?

This bizarre work of art (credit goes to wasps) is one of several hanging from the ceiling inside said shop:)

How awesome a place! Those are the best places to come upon when you travel. Something you will likely never see again! Can't wait to hear about the maple sugar adventure!

Wasps make great paper! I've used it in my own paper work a couple of times. When ever I see a nest, I wrestle with the decision of whether to climb the tree to get to it or just leave it for others to enjoy. I usually just leave it, but I don't think many "enjoy" it as we might! :) This place looks like quite a joint.

Hey Shelagh; Had to let you know that I spent some time at Mark Brennan's blog. What a feast for the eyes and soul. His entry on rejection touched my heart as I have been going through a bit of that lately. Anyway, I have added his site to my list and wanted to say thank you for sharing such a beautiful spirit with us! Mickey
