Fairy Tale called The Shed
Once upon a time and still upon a time, in a place by the sea called Nova Scotia, there lives a beautiful young woman named Kate.
Her house is bright yellow .
Full of dreams...
One day, a special dream came true......and the Shed was born. (with a bit of hard work and some splinters)
A creative place full of light, laughter and magic. Perched on the edge of a sparkling creek. People from far and wide come to learn from Kate.
and learn from each other (KateInglisphoto)
Conversations flow easily, sometimes fortunes get told
Soon cameras are everywhere
Exploring the possibilities....
Food and wine appear, just when needed...
Nearby towns become part of the learning..
Portraits are captured
Again
and again
Then with cameras full, some intrepid students pose for one more..
Meanwhile, back at the Shed something wonderful awaits...
Another sumptuous feast and then music.....under the stars, with a dancing inch worm, crackling fire, quilts, tired happy new friends and old ones enjoy the magic that is The Shed.
All this because a woman named Kate weaves magic. (AidanMorgan:photo)
The shed is still there, sitting quietly in the woods waiting for the next adventure

Photography e-Course
Yesterday I had to make a quick run to Truro. On my way back home I was compelled to stop and take some pictures. The last hurrahs of Autumn were calling to me. I took a little detour and then got lost in the pleasure of taking photographs.
Really, it is my passion. I lose track of time and all that exists is me and my subject. Sometimes I get so "focused" (excuse the pun) on what I am doing, I forget my surroundings and who might be around. Luckily nothing untoward has ever come of that.
Photography is probably one of the best de-stressers I can think of. At least for me:)A true escape. Of course it can be a bit of a pain for anyone with me, because I always have my camera and when a shot "presents" itself. I HAVE to snap. My family and friends are used to it now:) I am sure a lot of you feel the same way.
and....speaking of photography......( funny about that) .......
My next Sensational Snap Photography e-course starts on November 11th and runs for 6 weeks. It is a "no pressure" let's have fun with taking pictures and try some exercises to improve our photographic eye, sort of course. You can do it alone or participate.

Preggers
This is my friend Angie, of Angie All the Way and she is 35 weeks pregnant! That's how far along I was when my daughter was born and she was tiny but perfect! Angie and I had some fun on the weekend.
Here are some of the pictures we took. Bear with me, I have a few!
These were taken at the Dingle. A lovely park on the NorthWest Arm that used to be the estate of Sir Sanford Flemming.
These adorable scuffed shoes were Angies when she was a babe.
This was funny, the shoes were bobbing up and down because the baby was bouncing and kicking:) You can see the happy look on Angie's face, slightly distracted, connecting with the baby moving inside.
We were there about 8:45 am but I think it should have been earlier, the sun was quite high in the sky even at that hour.
Love the look on her face in this black and white photo.
OK. all done. Time for ice cream!
