September 1
Magical....
Love this picture. Tangled Garden again, a place of infinite visual pleasures.
September 1st. Glad it is here and sad it is here. A beautiful month for beginnings, it also starts the slow process of nature settling back down to sleep.
Speaking of beginnings, I started WeightWatchers Online. Gotta do SOMETHING! Too many ciders and barbeques, oh and cupcakes too. A weakness of mine. Oh dear.
Still hot and getting hotter. Very surreal really. We usually have temps in low 20s( 70F) and right now it is 34 (94F) on my thermometer with high humidity. Sleeping is difficult so I am sure most people in Halifax without air conditioning (lots!) are walking around like the zombie I am today.

Before we got central air, I slept in the basement when it got really bad. Just took the sleeping bag and ended up being joined by my children. Heat doesn't affect my husband.
Our heat went up, too, though not quite as high. I just adore this photo! Me, I'm very excited about September-the beginning of my fave part of the year.
love your blog
Fabulous photo!
Dolores- I might end up in the basement tonight!
Wordscrafter- Yes, I think of September as a mini-New Year.
Suz- Thanks
Elise-Thanks to you too!
Hello! New reader here!
I love that photo; it's absolutely beautiful.
I am definitely one of those walking around like a zombie. Sleep is just not going to be mine this week.
careful careful these next few days. my twenty year old goes to dal and he is giving us updates. yesterday he said the water was hot, that same water that is normally ice cold. love your blog, over here from soul aperture. considering your course!
Yes, my apartment is like a sauna right now. Not Fun. My poor kitty just sprawls on the floor and sleeps she's so hot :( I love Tangled Garden too, btw. My mom loves their stuff and always stops there when we go to the valley.
Kristine- Hi!Yep, as long as the high temps stay, I am in zombieland:)
Margie- My daughter is at Dal and is twenty too!Hmmm.
Kim- It is brutal isn't it. My cat is baffled by the heat and lies stretched as long as he can get
