turquoise and green

It is the colour that appeals to me here. I love green. It is my favourite colour, here especially with the bit of blue thrown in. It is this time of year that I start to get twinges of longing for green vistas and splashes of colour. This was taken on our trip to Alberta last summer.
Tonight I am going to a taping at CBC to see Shannon Quinn and her dad. I hope I am going. The weather forecast is dreadful. Snow, turning into freezing rain and ice pellets! Not exactly driving weather:(
"Tomorrow, tomorrow, I love you tomorrow, you're only a day away!" Yes! my birthday!!! :)) Remember to pop by my blog here, leave me some love and I will enter you in my 8 gift giveaway:) Fun to be giving gifts on my birthday. I am excited about it. Hope to see you then. If you want to blog about it , I will enter you twice but you have to tell me so I know to do it:) Cheers! See you then:))

I miss these colours so much too. I know they're there under all that snow.

I didn't know that musician, she sounds wonderful. I heard about the weather and bought tons of groceries and am staying put tonight. Please be careful on those roads but have a fantastic time with all that wonderful music.

Consider it an exploration of art, going to listen to music, and enjoy the journey to health and prosperity.

Dear Shelagh,
I popped upon your blog last fall when I was looking for East Coast art, and I have been visiting your blog most days ever since..
I discovered we have a lot in common... we are both capricorns, both love art, and I am from farther east than you... the beautiful island of Newfoundland.
Although I do love Nova Scotia second...
Have a great Birthday tomorrow and a great year 2009....
P.S. I lived in Alberta and the mountains are wonderful, but the ocean keeps calling me back...

Gorgeous blue-green water. We have the green(ish) trees, but not the water. And how I love the surface of lakes like that one.
