Heading home

Road home. Yesterday evening, driving back home from Truro. An hour along a good highway. I enjoyed it. The pavement was clear and the sun was out on my way to the funeral and it was clear sailing on the way home. Got back at dusk.

I'm quite amazed at the response to One World, One Heart event! Wow, I think there are almost 500 people from all over the world participating. How cool is that. Everyone giving away a gift or two:)

I had a great belated birthday brunch with a good friend today. Hooray! It was a charming restaurant full of light and bright colours. Here's what I had.......scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage and fruit. (I love taking pictures of food)

and finished with this!

I like to take photos of food too, especially when it's displayed as beautifully as your breakfast. Now you've made me hungry.

I think I might have visited you at your original blog, your name sounds familiar. In any case, I too love art, Paris, and tea - so it's just you, me, and thousands of other people. small world!

Hi there - popped over from Daysgoby where I saw a comment of yours and have now rummaged through your archives looking at your wonderful photographs! Although I live in Edinburgh, Scotland, I am very fond of Nova Scotia and love seeing your images of your wonderful surroundings.

Happy belated birthday.
Your meal looked so delicious..
I use to live in Nova Scotia... Lived in Auburn, Ailsford, Kingston, Middleton, and finally in Greenwood. Can you guess my DH flew with the airforce!! He was on 405 squadron there.... What a beautiful part of the country. We retired in Southern Ontario where we are now....
Tooo much snow and cold this year, Cross out the "Southern" haha

Hope you will come by my blog for a visit...
xoxo
((((hugs))))

Happy belated birthday! When is it? Mine was the 18th and I turned 43. It was pretty much a non-event around here because a lot of other stuff was going on but that's okay. I got to make art and that's always a good day! Have a good week!
