tomorrow is a big day

Belinda and the Sea on eBay:)

So tomorrow is my daughter's 19th birthday!! How did she grow up so fast?? She can accompany me to a bar. Scary. She can order a beer. Really scary.
Today will be doing a bit of prep for her day tomorrow. She's in the middle of massive first year University end of term scramble to get projects, papers, presentations finished, so I am not sure how much time she has to celebrate.

Another warm snow melty day. Yay!

Congratulations! I have a 12-year-old, and that freaks me out on an on-going basis. I know 19 is right around the corner! It must be really fun, however, to have an adult relationship start to develop.

Another brilliant painting!
You asked about the Barrister...
A member of my family married into his. He's a fabulous cook and a very interesting man.
Have fun today!

My son's 19th birthday was 3 years ago...we will hit 22 shortly. Our first drink together in a bar was something I still can't believe actually happened. How could this be? It was just yesterday that he was a baby...

Happy Birthday to your daughter! I hope you both have a fun time together. And good luck to her with her schoolwork. First year can be tough but I hope she gets everything done on time and the way she likes it. Then she'll be able to really celebrate. :)

Happy day to your daughter!
My son (to turn 19 in 7 months) only wishes we were not state side still.
My daughter (21) has managed to keep a moderately level head when it comes to going to pub.

Doesn't just seem, that our wee ones were in nappies?
Oh how the years do pass quickly, when we're having fun.

Happy big day for you too. Well done, on you, for raising her so well.
Cheers~
