crunch, crunch

I've been eating lots of these and enjoying them. So far, so good:) 1 week on the plan and 5.5 pounds gone:) I'm feeling tired today but am determined to do some sort of exercise! You know the drill...move more eat less.

Still feeling shattered at the devastation in Haiti. Hard to imagine the chaos, confusion and loss. No one to give direction. 3 million people without access to food, sanitation or water! Hopefully it can be rebuilt as stronger, safer and thriving country. I've done a little bit to help out and with many doing the same , it WILL make a difference. Any of you here in Canada wanting to help, here is the CBC Haiti relief resource page. Some up to date"on the ground in Haiti" info from Doctors Without Borders

Congrats on the weight loss Shelagh that is awesome. That salad looks wonderful! One night a week I have a salad as a meal and it is huge and has about everything you can imagine in it!!

I made my contribution to the Red Cross. My heart just aches for the people of Haiti. I was watching on TV last night and they are such beautiful people and to see the pain and the devastation and suffering is just horrible.

I hope for the same thing you do. They were suffering before the quake. I hope somehow someway their lives will be better at some point.

Happy for you on the weight loss! You are doing so well.

I feel so for those people in Haiti - and I remember how it was before with such a corrupt government that allowed those poor people to struggle so. I hope the monies that are going there go to the people and not the government.

I am a big fan of Doctors without Borders...that's where my money goes!

Mmmm...that salad looks so good and so healthy. Good for you for losing the weight. I know how hard it can be to lose weight. And yes, it is heartbreaking what is happening in Haiti. We're so lucky to be living in Canada and the U.S. We have the ability to help those in need. We CAN make a difference.

Hiya Shelagh!

Good for you! That's a lot of weight to lose in one week.

I feel so sad about Haiti. It is a country that has suffered so much and now this terrible devastation occurs. I already donated to the Red Cross and Doctors Without Boarders.

Wonderful weight loss Shelagh! One of my favorite snack things was this:

1 slice of bread
1 slice of processed cheese
1 thinly sliced apple

Toast this long enough for the cheese to melt and ENJOY!

Good luck! I'm rooting for you.
